Near miss....

Remembering a recent event from our past last year; this wonderful (yet horrible) picture.   We had this large tree in our backyard "fall apart" alongside either side of our home.  This would have been soooo traumatic to me if it had fallen directly on the house as my craft room is the upstairs window.  I have told everyone I could have had any area hit but THAT.  :)

We were very blessed to only have one little corner of the house touched by that tree.  Our wonderful nearly 100 year old tree was planted by my DH's father after he found it down by the creek when he was only 10 years old.  LOTS of memories.  We will definitely miss it and the shade.
